It's so hard to choose but....

I really loved this one from CoastalGranny. It's so believable, and I'd love to know what a 'diaplacement pump' pumps? Any ideas anyone?

Tranter (noun)
the tool used to replace ripped diaphrams in positive diaplacement pumps.

He extended the tranter over the diaphram lip and pulled, before he realized he hadn't closed the intake valve. By then it was too late.

Too late for what?

Keep it up!

"too late" because if the resistance is removed, the built up pressure will expell whatever the pump was pumping. With an open line - you are going to be coated in whatever that pump was pumping.

Thanks for the fun - I just discovered your blog and love it.

  2. Oscryso [proper noun OSS-kriss-o]
A beauty cream made from the ground-up bones of minks, sold to gullible insomniacs through 3 AM infomercials.

With Oscryso, your skin will be as soft as this mink coat! Only $99.95 for a two-ounce bottle! And remember, Oscryso supports animal rights -- now minks will know that they are valued for their insides as well as their outsides!

(At the end of the infomercial, a fast-talking legal person says, "Oscryso contains at least 1% mink bones, in addition to fillers such as cow bones, horse bones, dog bones, roadkill bones, and melamine. Getting Oscryso anywhere near your mouth or other mucus membranes may lead to kidney stones, blindness, coma, or death."
